Ural Akyuz artworks are with CRODER Exhibitions around the City Istanbul
The exhibition, together with my Tex covers, was opened in Istanbul on 3 different dates and in 3 different locations. The first is as an Exhibition of Original Drawings at Caddebostan Culture and Art Center. The second is at the Maltepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts Exhibition Hall. I'm sure it has been a beautiful and inspiring show for young artists. And the last one is in Istanbul, Kadıköy Municipality Cartoon House.
Important Exhibitions
Comic Book Association is a valuable association that includes old friends, writers and illustrators. We are proud to have an important place among the creators of the comic and movie that we all loved since childhood, known throughout the country. In fact, it is a nice feeling to be among the creators of the heroes in the exhibition those I read and followed in my childhood, which is not only limited to comics, but also the first products of Turkish cinema.
One of the factors that make the exhibition important is that today's non-digitized works can affect young generations. My selected works are originals prepared in that period with gouache and brush in 35 x 50 cm size on Schoeller paper. In this way, they became the agenda again. Today, I am one of those who follow technology most closely. But the taste taken from traditional art is always completely different. It is much more valuable. It's easier to feel to understanding the techniques of the masters when you see the original hand painted works.
